December 2, 2008 - The Exhibition Team performed at the LSU Candlelight Celebration.
September 28, 2008 – The Exhibition Team performed at the LSU vs. Kentucky volleyball game
June 9, 2008 - Several Club members competed at the Gumbo of Ballroom Competition
April 5, 2008 - Club members performed a Samba exhibition at the local USA Dance Chapter’s monthly dance – Saturday Night Ballroom.
March 29, 2008 - Club members performed a short salsa exhibition at the Louisiana State Chili Cookoff
January 19-20, 2008 - The team hosted a free Dance Workshopweekend and Latin Dance Party on January 19th and 20th.
January 2008 - The Club voted on officer positions for the following school year. Emily Brinks (President), Samantha Shaffer (Vice President), Nicole Newchurch (Secretary/Treasurer), Jared Lewis (Music Coordinator), and Bill Hutchings (Team Captain) were all elected.
December 4, 2007 – Club Members performed at the LSU Tree Lighting Ceremony
October 19, 2007 – Club Members Bill Hutchings and Olivia Wajda competed at the South East regional Championships in Newcomer division and won two 1st place awards and were the first dance couple representing Tiger Dancesport.
September 10, 2007 - The Club Began holding weekly club meetings
September 1-2, 2007 - The Club held our first weekend-long Dance workshop.
August 10, 2007 - Club history was made as the student organization application was approved all within 60 days and with a full Board of Directors and a staff adviser. The organization was established as the Ballroom Dance Club at LSU.
July 2007 - During July, the club saw explosive growth, reaching 75 members and the initial Board of Directors were appointed: Emily Brinks, Samantha Shaffer, Lauren Hammond, Liz Ainsworth, Matthew Broussard, Jacqueline Delery and Smoot Carter.
June 8, 2007 - Initiatives were taken to start a college ballroom team at LSU by Stephen Lucas.
