Welcome to the Ballroom Dance Club at LSU!

The Ballroom Dance Club at LSU was formed in August 2007. Our goal is to offer students and alumni of LSU quality ballroom and latin dancing lessons in both competitive and social dancing at all levels. There are over 120 competitive ballroom clubs at colleges nationwide. Our competition and performance team, Tiger Ballroom, offers the LSU community the opportunity to learn international-style ballroom and latin dances to represent LSU at local, regional, and even national competitions. The local chapter of USA Dance hosts the South Central Regional Dancesport Competition each year in Baton Rouge in which students can compete. In addition to competitive ballroom lessons, Tiger Ballroom also offers social dance lessons, dance events, and other performance opportunities.

You can learn to... Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive, Paso Doble, Samba, Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Viennese Waltz, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Mambo, Bolero, ...and more!

See below
, our Facebook page, or our forum for more information on weekly dance opportunities. No experience or partner is required. Come out, learn to dance, and have fun!
